Yair Cohen - CEO
An experienced entrepreneur and business development specialist with a strong focus on the cannabis sector. As the founder of YC2, a private cannabis-focused investment vehicle, I have been actively involved in consulting companies with investments in biotech start-ups for the past three years. Now, I am excited to apply my skills and expertise in technology companies that are driving global change through innovative thinking.
My skill set includes an analytical and problem-solving mentality, allowing me to navigate complex challenges with confidence. I am an adaptable and agile manager, capable of quickly adjusting strategies to meet evolving market demands. I am passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of companies that are shaping the future.
Lior Kaufman
Lior Kaufman - Chief engineer
Lior holds a B.A. in Architecture and has a wide experience in R&D and multiple thecnical employee management. His experience was built through the establishment and operation of two oil refineries – “Desert Oil” for the production of Jojoba oil and “Nes-Shmanim” for the production of cold forming oils (Almonds, Chia, Sesame and more). Both companies are operating and profitable. During his career, Lior developed innovative technologies and facilities, in collaboration with top notch organizations worldwide (NASA, Israel Innovation Authority and more).
Prior to Algamol, Lior managed multiple large-scale system projects in Albania and Cyprus. These projects included developing and implementing multiple aspects of biology, chemistry, and technical complexed production facilities.
Yaron Elgrabli
Yaron Elgrabli - CTO
As the CTO and Senior System Engineer, Yaron brings over 20 years of experience in leading systems architect and R&D teams to drive innovation and achieve results in various industries, including defense, aerospace, and startups. He has a proven record of accomplishments in successful product development and commercialization in complex systems, software, and hardware across multidisciplinary projects.
Prior to joining Algamol, Yaron worked as a freelance CTO, Architecture, and advisor for different clients. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
Yaron resides in Ramat-Gan and is a proud father of two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys playing as a DJ in different communities.
Christos Spanos
Christos Spanos - CFO
Christos is CFA charterholder and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Master’s degree in Medical Radiation Physics. He has established a number of financial services and fund management ventures and has managed various investment funds across asset classes including Real Estate, Equity, and Systematic Trading of Options and Futures. He has advised several private entities in M&A projects across the EU.
